My friends and I joined a local cosplay 4-koma contest, and we made it to the top 10. The 3 winning entries will be picked based on who gets the most votes, since they've already passed the judges' criteria. We did our best to create humorous 4-komas but we're up against entries that already have thousands of, or almost a thousand, likes. Perhaps we don't have good persuasion skills, but then, T&B also doesn't seem to be that popular here. We're hoping to reach out to T&B fans to see our entries. Thus, if it's no trouble, and if you'd like to help us out, could you please like or share our entries? We'd really like to make it to the top 3.
This is the entry I submitted, which is about Scarf-tan meeting the Heroes and secretly being a fujoshi: www.cosplay.ph/microsites/cosm…
And this is my friend's entry, which features Kotetsu and Barnaby bantering as usual: www.cosplay.ph/microsites/cosm…
All you have to do is - if you're liking via Facebook - to click the "like" button on the upper left corner. You can also click "share" to spread the word, as shares also count as likes. Thus, you can vote multiple times by liking on FB and, say, sharing on Twitter, your blog, etc. We're not sure what the prizes are for this contest but we'd really like to spread the T&B love. So if you like our entries that much, could you please share the post on your page, website, Tumblr, and/or Twitter accounts as well?
Thank you!

2012 Cosplay Plans
Pretty Sure:
1. Shouko Kirishima (Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu) - I'm hoping to cosplay her with a group (specifically, with some friends who were supposed to cosplay some Baka Test characters - I'm not sure if they want me to divulge their names, as they might want their plans to be kept secret), but I'm not sure if my friends are still pushing through with their plans.
2. Homura Akemi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) - I've been wanting to cosplay her since last year, but I'm scared because Madoka Magica is a popular series, and I'm sure a lot of fanboys (and even fangirls) will have high expectations as to how Homura's supposed to look like. Su

Oh, hello again, dA. Just a while ago, I was browsing through my dA because I hadn't gone here in a while, and I hardly even log in to dA unless I feel like it or I have something to post. I actually deleted a bunch of submissions because I thought, "Oh, crap, why did I submit them?" Not that they were horrendous - I liked some of them - but then some of the pics seemed redundant, some weren't too good because I took them with my own point-and-shoot camera (yes, I know, you can take good pics with a P&S, but the ones I posted weren't all that), some were trial pics (and not very good ones at that), etc. I guess that sometimes, I just get real
Selling some stuff! (Manga, merchandise, wigs, etc
Hello! I'm in need of funding and some space, so I'm selling some of my old things.
Please check out http://nihonmachi.multiply.com or this album on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...00001693389534
I plan to include some costumes, so please check for updates. For now, I've got manga, some merchandise, and wigs. Also, I might open up a Paypal account for international buyers, if anyone overseas would like to buy my stuff.
Thank you!
Cosplay plans for the rest of 2011
Hello again, dA. Blogging over here isn't really my thing because I prefer doing so on LJ (and my blog entries usually end up pretty long anyway), so what few entries I'll blog here will be as short as possible, and will most likely be about cosplay. Most of the personal stuff (e.g. travel) goes to LJ (and Multiply, if I feel like cross-posting).
But anyway, I digress.
2011 marks my third year of cosplaying and I noticed that the number of cosplays that I've been doing in a year has been steadily increasing. In 2008, I only had two cosplays; in 2009, there were four; and there were five in 2010. (In 2009 and 2010, though, I had a few closet
